There are some light, brief pencil markings on some pages (problem numbers are circled, starred and the occasional answer circled) on a small percentage of the pages (perhaps 5%?); no highlighting or writing in pen; no torn pages; a few dogeared pages and two pages that were not cut properly at the corners so there is some fraying, no smells, stains or water damage; binding is not bent and all pages are crisp, white and tight in; cover has wear at the corners and top/bottom of spine including tiny tears, used book stickers on the spine and back; cover is shiny and not faded.
