This receiver is clean minus the fact that the tuner station down button has been dislodged ( see photos 4 and 5 ) but the tuner stations down can be accessed via the remote control. I only used this receiver as a 3.1 receiver ( left, right and subwoofer ) for stereo listening only so I have no idea how the surround sound functions will respond although ALL of the front panel buttons do respond even on the remote control unit. I needed the receiver's 145w per channel to drive my speakers happily. Please look this 50lbs 700hd receiver up on Google for great reviews and all the specs. I will pack it well and i do have the outer Adcom box.
