Amati's Fine Instruments in Cincinnati Ohio has earned a respected place in the American violin retail market place. The AFV-017 is a formidable violin for a student showing uncommon promise. I've taught violin for 35 years and consider this 1/2 violin among the nicest I've seen so far. The tone is clear, warm, and powerful. Playing a recital on such an instrument gives increased confidence to the performer. Not a beginner violin, this is truly an intermediate player's instrument.
