This genus unites more than 20 species. This plant is native to South and East Asia: Thailand, South Korea, Pakistan, southern China, Japan, Laos, Nepal and eastern Iran. The length of the leaf plates varies from 0.3 to 0.6 m, and their width is about 0.5 to 2 cm.
