Both of these books were signed and inscribed by the author to the same person but at two different times of the same year of 1920. The South American Travels one also has a laid in paper showing that who it was inscribed to being Marshall Murray had some involvement with the Trust Department of the First National Bank of Chicago in Illinois and there is a fold out map at the end of the book showing the author’s route. Please see pictures showing that the hinge of the covers of both books are starting to show wear and a little separation and a top page corner tear. On the Journeys book there is some fixing on the front blank pages. In both books the cover corners are bumped and worn. This is a good opportunity to get 2 books that are both signed and inscribed.
