The custom tooled basket gave us the ability to fit a longer voice coil allowing the loudspeaker to take on more power and still move efficiently. Furthermore, this basket design effectively allows the spider to be positioned higher inside the basket preventing the spider and lead wire from hitting the front plate at higher power levels.
