It is embossed every three feet or so with 'G80', indicating the grade. I tried to cut it with a pair of 48" H.K. Porter bolt cutters and stopped before I shattered the jaws of my cutters. I found it impossible to cut it with a reciprocating saw as it wore the expensive Lennox blades down flat quickly.
