Arms are removable to convert to short sleeve if needed. A couple of marks on the exterior shown in the photos. I noticed one on the arm piece and one on the butt. I did not use it very much. The 123 is a designation for neoprene thickness in the armpit (1mm), arms/legs (2mm) and torso (3mm) areas.
