Ludwig 4” x 14” Piccolo Snare Drum Maple shell Perfect Crisp Sound B234662 The diameter of the metal rim is just under 13” inches, but the actual drum from wood to wood is closer to 14”, see pics of measurements. I’ve been a drummer since I was 13 back in the 90s, and I’ve always liked piccolo snares for that tight and crisp sounding pop it adds. Tho many are a little to high pitched in my opinion. I really like the sound of this one and have used it a while. Needs to heads soon, but still works fine. It’s priced a little higher than others online because I like it so much, and am reluctant to let it go, I don’t have my set up right now, so I’m not using it.
