This clock radio has been tested and everything works, radio, alarm, battery backup, and the clock, the digital numbers are DIM GREEN DISPLAY and are hard to see in a lit room. It is said that there is a way to adjust the brightness, but it is different on different models. This clock is in dim mode and when looking at online manual there is no instruction on how to change brightness. Great for sleeping in dark room but not best for a lighter room in the house.
