Pros Beautiful screen, user replaceable battery and backplate. Expandability.
Cons A bit thick, a bit heavy and lacks battery endurance.

BUILD QUALITY

Thrive comes with a gorgeous 10.1” screen and has a resolution of 1280x800p which makes it perfect for viewing HD video.   That HD video can either be uploaded to Thrive or can be recorded with the rear 5MP camera in 720p.  Thrive also has a front facing... Read full review »

Pros Lower price, full-size SD card slot, USB jack, fairly quick battery recharging, latest...
Cons Users wanting thinner or lighter tablets won't be as sweet on this one.
Recommended it? Yes

To read the blogosphere about the Toshiba Thrive, you'd swear the unit weighs 20 pounds and is two feet wide.  I'm amazed at what other reviews have claimed about this lovely tablet that weighs barely over a pound a half - that it's "bulky".  Nonsense!  The Thrive is a great tablet...
