Pros Brightening effect, 3 very wearable shades, easy to control.
Cons Perhaps too subtle, requires a bit of experimentation, doesn't include a brush.
Recommended it? Yes

I'm not sure what prompted me to purchase this product because I have a less is more approach to applying my makeup and I don't want to clutter up my routine or my makeup bag with a lot of "steps".

Pros Lasts long, gives a great pearl-like glow to your skin without the glitter!
Cons Price seems a bit much, but it's worth it.
Recommended it? Yes

I first discovered this Smashbox Soft Lights powder in Shimmer several years ago (I want to say about 8 years ago or more). I was a big fan of Smashbox products and I got it in a kit I had bought off QVC. I got hooked on it when it was in that kit and still go to buy it today!
