The Panasonic PV-GS90 comes with a 42x optical and 2000x digital zoom lens and an optical imager stabilizer that is considered one of the best. Unique to the Panasonic Palmcorder is a built-in lens cover to protect the lens for being damaged. The optical sensor is a 1/6-inch CCD and has both manual and auto focus adjustments. This Panasonic Palmcorder uses mini DV media, so it is easy to unload and reload cassettes. Shutter speeds range from 1/30 second to 1/8000 second using one of three exposure modes, auto, manual or program and the camera has a minimum illumination of 2 lux for low light conditions. I bought this camcorder last year around February and it worked well until September of 2005.I brought my PV GS9 on every family vacation and outing and it worked exceptionally well.
