Pros Low cost, huge game library, small size, ease of use, reliability.
Cons Poor online support, isn't exactly the big kid on the block anymore.
Recommended it? Yes

The PS2 was introduced in 2000.  Simple enough statement, right?  Well, there's more to it.  With Sony's announcement that they will continue releasing new titles on the PS2 through 2010, that marks a full decade the PS2 has been relevant.  What other console can really say that?  Even the early... Pros Easy to set up, ability to play ps1 titles, bargain priced games.
Cons Noisy, chunky, limited space to 252MB combined, old pixeled graphics.
Recommended it? Yes

Ok, I believe to be able to review this platform we need to first identify wether you are upgrading from a ps1 or downgrading from a ps2.
