The GPS 76 is designed to provide precise GPS positioning using correction data obtained from the Wide Area Augmentation System (WAAS). This unit features a built-in quad helix antenna for superior reception and can provide position accuracy to less than three meters when receiving WAAS corrections.The GPS 76 provides 1 megabyte of internal user memory to be used for storing downloaded Points of Interest data. Pros: Waterproof, can hold 8 mg memory. 500 waypoints and 50 routes
Cons: Not for the Technically disadvantaged, that would be me.
The Bottom Line: This will do a great job for fishermen, hikers, etc. Lightweight and it floats if you are technical minded then this is for you.

Pros: Good accuracy even without WAAS signal, WAAS signal reception, easy to navigate menus
Cons: slightly too large to hold comfortably in hand
The Bottom Line: The GPS 76 is reasonable choice for any outdoor enthusiast who is looking for a GPS that offers plenty of useful features in an easy to use package
