With a minimum focal distance of 6.6 feet and the capacity to bring even the moon into perfect focus, this giant 300mm Canon EF telephoto lens is a great tool for those who are serious about photography. This digital lens features an 8 degree-15 minute diagonal angle of view so you can frame only what you want, and three-mode optical image stabilization to ensure crisp pictures. When you pan with action, the shutter releases only when fully pressed and an ultrasonic autofocus motor (USM) allows a smooth change of focus from one object to another. Bring the lens to a big game for the perfect shot, or use it to track another type of game in the wild. Less

Pros Excellent optical quality, true 1:1 reproduction, large manual focus ring, light weight.
Cons Aperture ring is very imprecise, focus ring is over-dampened.
