It's hard to imagine the little blue creatures as anything less than the happiest things in the world, but terror has fallen on their precious village. Gargamel has cast a wicked spell (doesn't this guys have anything better to do?) and now the Smurfs are trapped inside of all their worst nightmares! Only Hefty has been spared, and you'll control the brave fellow through each level of his peers' worst trepidations, attempting to rescue each Smurf individually. The spooky happenings have all unfolded on the night of a full moon, making things even more frightening. There are 16 levels in all, and each is packed with unique enemies and obstacles that will give you a run for your money, and the graphics are vintage SMURFS all the way. Two levels of difficulty allow less experienced gamers to ease into play, and all progress can be saved with the use of a password. Less

Move over, Lara Croft. The most popular video game heroine in video game history returns to chomp some more dots and chase a few ghosts in this hand-held version. Make your way through four mazes, trying to eat all of the dots before you're caught by unfriendly specters. Of course, eating one of the strategically placed power pellets will turn the tables, giving you the ability to eat the ghosts! All of the bouncing fruit bonuses and cartoon intermissions from the classic arcade game are included, and you choose a full or half-sized maze perspective. One of the most successful arcade games ever, MS. PAC-MAN makes a great hand-held game as well. Less

Who the Smurfs are?

Surprisingly, I learned it only before (and while) playing the game. Smurfs were a community of small, blue creatures in white caps who worked, lived, played and were occasionally having their Day of Unhappiness in the Smurf Village. When they weren't having wacky... Read full review »
