Cons: Display a bit hard to read from 12 feet away. Doesn't come in silver (US)
The Bottom Line: If you're looking for a home theater receiver in the $300-$500 range, you can't go wrong with the Yamaha. It even beats some in the $700-$800 range.

Pros: Extraordinarily good sound quality; YPAO extremely accurate; Incredible audiophile value.
Cons: Poor remote and interface with receiver; LFE setting default too high; Manual could be better.
The Bottom Line: You really have to spend more than $2,000 for an A/V pre-amp or an A/V receiver with this sound quality and level of performance. This is a stunningly good product!
