Pros: good video/audio quality, multi-format support, long battery life
Cons: a bit heavy, the spinning DVD can be slightly noisy sometimes
The Bottom Line: Very good if you want a capable DVD player for travel use.

I started to look for a portable DVD player as we're going to have an intercontinental flight with our 3-yr old son. We need something to occupy him besides his books and toys. My on-line research led me to the SDP1900.

Pros: Long Battery, good input/output features, nice body
Cons: cannot play DVD+R format
The Bottom Line: In portable world battery life is the key. Although other features are average this DVD player has long a battery hold. I do recommend it
