Two new exterior paint colors Windsor Blue Metallic And Memory Red Metallic are now available for Cabrio. Standard safety features for both models include dual air bags, side impact protection, daytime running lights and an integral roll bar. A convenience group, optional on the base and standard for highline, has power windows, power/heated mirrors, and cruise control. Both models come with a standard four-cylinder engine with 115hp and five-speed manual transmission. An optional automatic four-speed is available on both models. 2006 New Beetle TDI with automatic transmission

Pros: Styling, Interior roominess, handling and stability (a bit choppy)Mileage, ease of driving, quality materials

Cons: Seat adjustment controls are too quirky, could use some chrome/rubber dress up along "running boards"

The Bottom Line: Newer diesels can run on biodiesel fuels which save money. They are cleaner than ever and very dependable.

Pros: Power, Updated Styling, Option packages

Cons: 2.5L is a new engine

The Bottom Line: If you have been waiting to buy a Beetle or Mini Cooper this is a great new option. Lots of power and great price tag.
