Pros: easy to use, good design, durable, easy to set up
Cons: picks up on the ani-copying in most vhs tapes, not American made
The Bottom Line: This thing is built to last, user friendly and pretty stylish, if your looking for your final dvd/vhs combo this is it.

Pros: playback of DVDs
Cons: VCR recording and playback, no RF coaxial cable outputs
The Bottom Line: Not the best from Toshiba, I cannot recommend it.

I purchased this a few months ago for a secondary TV set. I use this only for playback of tapes and DVDs.
The playback of VHS tapes is average to below average (tolerable for me). Below average playback is standard nowadays with VCRs...
