Very good WA lens for price

Pros: Good price, smooth operation, mostly sharp, low CA, fast constant f4

Cons: center sharpness, reported quality control problems

The Bottom Line: This is the best WA zoom out there for digital use unless you need razor sharp images.

Review: I bought this lens for wide angle use on my Rebel XT. With the 1.6X crop factor of the sensor on this camera you need to go pretty wide to get true WA shots. This lens provides 19-35mm equivalent to 35mm frame size.

Excellent sub-$500 Super Wide Angle Lens

Pros: Very sharp, f/4, little CA, good price, well built.

Cons: None for me

The Bottom Line: Unless you are doing architectural work, this is a GREAT lens to have in your bag.
