Pros: Print quality is great
Cons: When making copies off the color original, the wax remelts, causing paper jams. No solution.
The Bottom Line: I have to make copies off originals, and I would not recommend it. It causes paper jams, because of the wax remelting from the heat. Do not buy.

While the print quality is great, and the speed is fine. Thus far it has been maintenance free. I do have a few problems with it.

Pros: solid ink on paper looks pretty good
Cons: unreliable, expensive to maintain, very noisy, slow to start, not user friendly, not a Xerox
The Bottom Line: Do not buy. It is not a Xerox machine. Unreliable, noisy and expensive to maintain.

When I finally decided to get a color printer I went for what I thought is the best name: Xerox. The solid ink ads were pretty enticing and I found one under $1,000, the Phaser 8560N, that covered my requirements of low volume color printing.

Pros: It is a TRUE Adobe Postscript 3 printer; not an emulation.
Cons: It's silent always, but when it prints it makes a sudden and loud sound.
The Bottom Line: It's fast, comparatively cheap to use, and the color is good.
This reviewer recommends this product.

I purchased the Phaser 8560/N and have been really satisfied with it. I have owned both a Lexmark C530DN and an HP 3600dn (in the past YEAR) and they were both really, really bad.
The Lexmark eats ink. I'm a graphic designer who uses color...
