Review: I bought a copy of Norton Antivirus 2008 this year, since my current antivirus ( McAfee ) had expired subscription time.
Norton had a special offer, with 3 rebates of gift cards returning the sticker price of the product.

Do not download Norton Antivirus 2009 Crippleware!

Pros: Based on my years of prior experience, it should provide good virus protection.
Cons: This version's a Trojan horse that can shut down Norton installations, leaving you unprotected.
The Bottom Line: Symantec is unethical with its arm-twisting. In my book that trumps the technical efficiency of the product.
