Based upon Intels NetBurst microarchitecture, the Nocona processor supports the IA-32 software and includes features found in the Xeon processor such as Hyper Pipelined Technology, which includes a multi-stage pipeline, allowing the processor to operate at much higher core frequencies. Pros: 1) Quad Core Xeon (53XX series) compatible 2) Overclockable
Cons: 1) Only six memory slots.
The Bottom Line: An ATX workstation motherboard that can hold two Quad Core cpus under your desk. Nothing in the ATX form factor in 2007 will be faster.

The Supermicro X7DAL-E, to me, is a gift to those of us who crave high performance computers. Intel's FB-DIMM memory, overclocking, ATX form factor and a long upgrade cycle all combined in one powerful desktop motherboard.
