Questionable Reliability

Pros: Lots of cold air, looks nice, takes only minimal window space.
Cons: May no longer work after 3 days, window units hundreds cheaper, control buttons look/feel cheap.
The Bottom Line: Due to reliability concerns, cost, and limited manufacturers to choose from for this type of product, I regrettably have to recommend using a window unit instead.

Review: I bought a WA-9000E unit through Newegg to help cool my bedroom. The room is small, has a couple of computers in it, and faces the sun in the evening, so it can get uncomfortably hot. I also have roommates and usually keep the door shut.

So Not Cool!

Review: I bought this air conditioner locally after much research. It was fairly easy to set up and it indeed blew cold air. The problem started when the room temperature was 85 or above, it just didn't work. I even tried to turn it on before the room...
