Keeping cool without breaking the bank.

Pros: >portability >effective cooling of 400sq. ft >affordable >dehumidifier option >self evaporating >relatively quiet
Cons: >poorly constructed heat exhaust >portability limited to exhaust outlets >cant place flush with wall
The Bottom Line: I would recommend this a/c unit to anyone who is looking for an affordable portable air conditioning unit that is capable of cooling a room of 400 square feet.

Pros: Quiet. Low energy consumption. Removable air filter. Remote control. Easy setup. Rolls around. Cools quickly.
Cons: Heavy to lift by yourself so get a helper if you buy it.
The Bottom Line: Good, solid unit. Cools well and rolls out of the way in Winter.

Review: I have a non air-conditioned house in the mountains of North Carolina. I have never needed A/C before this summer. With the extended drought and record-breaking temps, I could not take sleeping in my upstairs bedroom any longer.
