Pros: Small, lightweight, lots of settings, rechargeable battery, great picture quality, lens cover panel, touch screen.
Cons: Menu not easy to navigate at first. Small, not for professional use.
The Bottom Line: If you want something small without sacrificing quality, choose this camera. I am a picture-taking fanatic and an artist, and I love this camera.

Pros: Good design, fine photos, good HD video, helpful features
Cons: Sub-par battery life, expensive, lag time between shots (occasionally)
The Bottom Line: Sony has a good effort. I'm picky about gadgets, and am pleased with this purchase. Try out Canon and Sony side by side before purchase.
