Not exactly what I hoped for

Pros: Great display, radio reception, nice front input option, Ipod interface capability is nice.

Cons: SPEED of IPOD interface!! No Genre option. Locks out ipod controls

The Bottom Line: Avoid it if you're looking to use the Xplod ipod interface, there are better options out there. If you just want a radio, it could work

Review: First thoughts I got my CDX-GT310 from best buy for christmas as a gift. I had really been looking for a way to control the ipod from the radio, ideally to have it display song/artist information on the radio face.

Pros: Easy and intuitive, good MP3 playback and directory navigation + track info display

Cons: Has minor user interface annoyances for my taste
