Pros: Best picture of the lcd rear projections.
Cons: Unreliable. Serious problem with bulb failure.
The Bottom Line: Not recommended at this time due to bulb problem.

I brought home this set at CC on 1/5. On 1/9, after about 5 hours of use (no kidding), set failed to turn on. Green light flashed for about 20 seconds, then red light began flashing. That's bad. It means bulb won't light. I have since discovered...

Pros: Very adjustable picture settings, rich color, compact size, cheap for what you get, light weight.
Cons: Off-axis picture fade, long start-up time, lamp will need replacement in 2-3 years.
The Bottom Line: Even if you aren't planning on upgrading to HDTV soon, buy this set. It'll work great on standard programming too.
