Pros: Incredible picture and sound for Bluray discs!

Cons: Fast Foward/Rewind is choppy; load times can be long (depending on the disc).

Good buy, great blu-ray player

Pros: Great video and sound output, screen menus easy to learn. Smooth operation.

Cons: None, other than figuring out the correct settings for your particular TV.

The Bottom Line: I highly recommend this unit to anyone looking for a great BluRay player for a modest price. Sony's experience in consumer electronics shines through in this unit's design and operation.

Plays EVERYTHING! BluRay, DVD-R/RW, DVD +R/RW

Pros: Plays DVD+R/RW as well as DVD-R. Outputs Composite, Component AND HDMI

The Bottom Line: Excellent Blu-Ray player that will play anything, up-converts regular DVD's to amazing detail AND outputs to ALL THREE video standards; HDMI, Composite, Component AT THE SAME TIME!!!

Review: I almost went for the Samsung, but when I read it would ONLY show BluRay and DVD-R ("NOT DVD+R/+RW) I picked this up instead.
I like the fact that it will not only output to HDMI, but also the component AND Composite (Single yellow RCA connector)...
