Good concept, bad execution. There are safer heaters without the bells and whistles.

Pros: Generates decent heat. Safety shutdown features avoid more dangereous situations than most heaters do.
Cons: Grille surface can burn little hands. Safety shutdown features aren't bulletproof. Fan unacceptably loud.
The Bottom Line: The extra safety features provide only a veneer of safety. Look elsewhere for a safe-to-touch, quiet heater.

Pros: quiet unit
Cons: unit failed within a month, only lip service from customer service

Review: I purchased one of these products and it failed within a month.  I have tried numerous times to get Soleus to honor their warranty with no success.  The top fins melted and the panel developed heat track lines that were not there...
