Pros: Solid, reversible head, smooth operation
Cons: large and relatively heavy
The Bottom Line: A model like this one, made by Slik, would be an excellent choice for any advanced amateur using an SLR or medium sized video camera

Review: I've used the same Slik U212 regularly for the past twelve years and it has held up well. I carry it everywhere, toss it in the trunk, use it in all weather and it works well.
