A perfectly serviceable radio, but not the smartest design.

by esmith512 , Apr 10, 2008
Pros: Excellent FM transmitter(!), relatively generous display, relatively small size, 18 memories, physically sturdy.
Cons: High power consumption, potentially self-destructively high operating temperature, not-the-smartest keypad layout/assignments.
The Bottom Line: Good radio, but avoid hot air, dirt/dust, and keep power at 12 VDC (slightly power hungry and hot). Use inline volume controls with headphones.

Review: The XAct XTR2 is a small satellite radio manufactured by XAct Communications Inc. which receives programming broadcast by Sirius Satellite Radio, Inc. The radio was introduced in late 2005/early 2006 by XAct as the "XTR2" and "XAct Stream Jockey...

I'm underwhelmed -- Overall design is average at best

by joeveto , Sep 9, 2009
Pros: Sirius content is, for the most part, easily enjoyed while on the go.
Cons: Poor design, frustrating software, flimsy center knob, weird programming/storage limitations.
The Bottom Line: The Stiletto is ok as a satellite receiver.  But it's far from an iPod contender.
This reviewer does not recommend this product.
Review: I'm a long time Sirius subscriber, with multiple accounts.  I'm also a "Techie" which I think makes me a a target consumer for this product, and a safe bet, in that I'm probably more receptive, even biased, towards Sirius products.

That being...

Stiletto 2: Stiletto 100 on Steroids? Really, Really, Good Steroids

by user8189720 , Dec 9, 2008
Pros: Beautiful interface, easy controls, wow factor, price, connectivity
Cons: Reception, songs can't be copied from the device, I wish the Wish List would work
The Bottom Line: If you were waiting to make the move to satellite radio, then the Stiletto 2 should help push you into making that move. Just don't let it push you around.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: Satellite Radio
When I decided to enter the satellite radio world I did it with the Stiletto 100 for $450. It was new on the scene and I was new on the market hoping to embrace the benefits of satellite radio. I paid a hefty price to be...
