Great Starter MiniDV camera

Pros: Great Price Good Quality All the standard features Good color reproduction and sharpness
Cons: White balance could be better Image Stabilization could be better AutoFocus could be better
The Bottom Line: All in all I don't see how you can go wrong if all you want is a miniDV camcorder for general purpose movie taking.

EXCELENT MiniDV camera for the price.

Pros: Price. Many useful features(for the price). Ok picture quality. Solid construction. Easy PC connection.
Cons: Battery life. Poor manual. Low light not great, but there are work arounds for that.
The Bottom Line: Just can't beat the quality for the price. Short Battery life is weakest spot. Low light isn't great but that can be compensated for with camera features.
