Search for best under $300 Home Theatre System

Pros: Decent 5.1 sound in DVD/CD mode. Nice remote functions for iPod or iPhone.
Cons: Overall "muted" sound, Digital Audio stops TV sound, won't play DVD-RW TV shows.
The Bottom Line: Overall ease of use surpass other units tested to date but lack of high notes in all but DVD/CD mode put HT-Z310 at bottom of my current list.
This reviewer does not recommend this product.
Review: If you're a Gadget-aholic like me, you always want the best at lowest prices when manufacturers introduce new models.

HT-Z310 Reviewed - Great system for price

Pros: Exceptional sound for the price, smaller form factor, added iPod dock
Cons: Limited iPod dock functionality, proprietary speaker wires, limited inputs on unit

Can't Beat a Samsung

Review: I have this hooked up to a Samsung 32" TV.  When the two are together, it is just like a theater.  You can even play an iPod with this.  The only thing I HATE is that it takes quite some time for the DVD/CD Tray to open up.
