Well, the great digital conversion of 2009 has forced a change in our household. My wife likes to watch TV while she fixes dinner, usually the evening news on ABC, so we have a small TV sitting on the bar alongside the kitchen. Pros Excellent reception (your mileage may vary), attractive design. 
Cons A slightly unstable base. I have mine on the floor: no problems. 
Recommended it? Yes

If you want to save some serious money, unplug your cable, buy a converter box and hook up an antenna. You may be surprised at what you see: incredible, vibrant pictures - even on a conventional tube-based TV - and many more channels.
