Overall a Good Shredder

Pros: Good shredder for home use.

Cons: Build up of shredded paper around parts.

Review: The Royal 80x does a good job at shredding paper. It does get stuck if you put more than 8 sheets of paper or paper that is really thick. One big problem I found out about this shredder is as paper begins to be shredded, the paper(s) get stuck...

POS Shredder won't turn OFF!!!

Pros: Looks nice. Cross cuts. Good size basket. Shreds CD's, DVD's, and CC's.

Cons: LOUD Defective unit. Too $$$. Shredded pieces could be smaller.

The Bottom Line: Don't buy it. Get something a bit more expensive, or get a $20 unit. It's not worth the price, honestly.

Review: I got my shredder from Office Max. It was quite pricey, IMHO, at $69. I got it home, and was instantly in love with the way it looked. You could get it in black or white.

This being said, now a month or two has passed and the stupid thing...

Cutoff switch on top unit doesn't function well.

Cons: Poor Safety switch location design and thin basket walls.

Review: Just got this unit as a warranty type replacement for another different Royal Shredder with parts problem that couldn't be resolved by ROYAL parts service department. The power cutoff safety switch which is in the base of the unit top does not line...
