Pros stoneware basin, glass lid, works properly
Cons stainless sides bleed heat, no warm setting
Recommended it? No

The Rival 3040 4-quart Crockpot basically does what it needs to, but not as well as it should. I made the mistake of not researching my purchase and of buying a slow cooker based on style. I ended up with a slow cooker that basically works, but has a few flaws.

I have had a problem with this Rival Smart Crock-pot from the first day I received it and tried it out less than a year ago. Everything I made in it was always dried out.
