The different functions of the voice recorder are controlled with five buttons that are positioned at your fingertips for easy use. You can choose between two options to record notes: by pushing the record button or with the Automatic Voice-Activated Record (AVA) mode. When using the Automatic Voice-Activated Record mode, the recorder will sense sound and start recording automatically once sound begins. Great if setup correctly.

Pros: small size, decant microphone and decant numbers of ports
Cons: Internal speaker, Start-up time, no back light

Review: to be blunt i liked the price, and after some reading of the manual (something most people do not do) i got great results.

for recording a room where you are looking for quality, set it to Conference, HQ and use a headset for play back...

Pros: Requires no proprietary software. Saves directly to MP3.
Cons: Sound quality is horrible. The interface is not very user-friendly.
