A four-layer voice coil integrated into the subwoofer offers high power reliability and heat dissipation. Ive been online reading what people have to say about sony, its not crap like they say. I bought these subs about 2 months ago and they pound. Pros -hits hard -380 RMS PER sub -bit wattage output -affordable price
Cons -amp heats up fast -kinda ugly in design, amp and sub are "bleh"

Aite, there's been all this crap online about how this sub and also the sony amp suck. Well, i got mine installed at best buy and got it for a good price.
