Pros Light, durable, does the job

The Victor 1170 is a pretty basic calculator without the scientific functions of more advanced calculators. There is no graphing here. It is not the most attractive of calculators, neither being slick, chic, nor exciting.

I remember when my husband bought his first digital calculator back in 1972. It was a big purchase back then costing well over a hundred dollars. The Texas Instruments Ti-7350 Basic Calculator is indeed that, a basic calculator. This calculator performs basic functions of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. They usually come in a pack of 12 and cost between 50 and 70 dollars.
