Bought this TV for the master bedroom to replace an Emerson 13" TV/VCR combo circa 1988. Just got DirecTV a couple of weeks ago and the Emerson was no match. Time for a new TV. Things that impressed me about the Panasonic TC-26LX20 were the 1280x768...

Pros: The TC-26LX20 is the best LCD set I have seen.
Cons: Buy with caution. Make sure you are clear regarding warranty.

Pros: Good picture after calibration, uses less power than 1080p HDTVs.
Cons: Unforgivably difficult to add individual new channels, weak audio, no analog outputs or earphone jack.
The Bottom Line: Not recommended for those who need to often add new channels or rotate their antenna to different directions, or those who need good stand-alone sound & output jacks.
