The Panasonic Lumix H-H014 14 mm f/2.5 Lens is a smart tool for photographers on-the-go. Boasting a wide-angle lens feature, this Panasonic Lumix Lens impresses users with its compact size and light weight. The camera lens measures 3.2187 x 4.406 x 4.03-inch and weighs a mere 1.94 oz. The Panasonic lens captures sharp images both indoors and outdoors and is capable of delivering crisp landscape shots. Those who want close-up shots can focus on subjects as close as 0.59 ft, while those who want maximum magnification can achieve quality results on images with approximately 0.10x/0.20x (35 mm camera equivalent). Photographers using the Panasonic lens get enhanced images due to its six lens system, which are arranged in five groups. Furthermore, the dynamic Panasonic Lumix Lens includes three aspherical lenses. Plus, out of focus areas in images are smoothed over by the rounded shape of the camera lens. Along with the crisp images, Panasonic Lumix Lens users discover and appreciate a fast internal focusing functionality. The lens focus mechanism is subtle so there’s no need to worry when taking photos in quiet settings. Less

The world's first interchangeable 3D lens Lumix G 12.5mm/F12 (H-FT012) realizes 3D shooting. It features two optical systems installed within the diameter of the lens mount, creating stereo images from the left and right lenses, to be processed with a 3D image processing system. Despite its unique performance, the 3D lens keeps its size extremely compact thanks to Panasonic's advanced optical technologies and consideration of image processing system as well as structural design.Shooting 3D content with an interchangeable lens system camera was possible by using panorama systems or a combination of two lenses and two CCDs, but these systems have drawbacks including the need for a dedicated 3D camera and the difficulties capturing moving objects. However, this compact 3D-capable interchangeable lens allows easier handling and instant 3D shooting with cameras without a special structure for 3D shooting. It produces 3D images without distortion or time lag between left and right images, even for moving objects. The 3D images, even close-up shots, taken with this lens are easy on the eyes when viewed on 3D VIERA televisions. Less
Small, light, sharp, fast and quiet autofocus, rugged
Expensive, no distance gauge
Pros: - No moving parts on the outside except the focus ring, so it is sturdy. I actually DROPPED this lens while running on concrete, attached to a GF2, and the GF2 got kind of badly mangled whereas the lens survived with only a scuff on the B+W brass UV filter I put on top of the lens...
