Pros: absolutely nothing except look

Cons: ineffective, cheap parts, sparks & crackles

Review: I actually ordered two Oreck air purifiers and am totally dissatisfied. The parts are sooo cheap and it's highway robbery to charge the prices that they charge. The air purifiers seem to work for the first 6 months but after the first cleaning...

Had mine for 2 years & only replaced filter once

Pros: Cleans air; has UV to sanitize the air; has timer.

Cons: Filter is expensive but you only have to replace it every other year.

The Bottom Line: For people with allergy, sinus problems, pets - THIS WORKS.

Review: This machine WORKS. I have two cats and a dog. They are outdoor/indoor animals so I have problems with the dust & pollen that they bring in.

Also, the air quality where we live is not that great since the smog from LA comes to the valleys...
