This is what video games should be: fun for everyone. Wii Sports offers five distinct sports experiences, each using the Wii Remote controller to provide a natural, intuitive and realistic feel. To play a Wii Sports game, all you need to do is pick up a controller and get ready for the pitch, serve or that right hook. If you've played any of these sports before, you're ready for fun! People of all skill levels can pick up and play any of the games in the unprecedented Wii Sports package, making this truly a title for everyone! The Wii console makes you feel less like a player and more like you're in the game. Frenzied sword battles are no longer confined to pushing a button. With Wii's unique Wii Remote controller, Nintendo puts you in the middle of the action. Forget about pushing a button to start a golf backswing. Wii lets you swing the club! Don't push a button to swing a sword, actually swing the sword. Video games have always been a part of you, now you get to be a part of them. Step up to the next level of gaming. Less

The Nintendo Wii: - Does the Revolution Live Up to the Hype?

byjeremy1456 Aug 19, 2007

Pros Decent Library of Games, Fantastic List of Upcoming Titles, Unique Features, Innovative...
Cons Weaker Graphical Capabilities Than the Other Consoles, Many Bad Games
Recommended it? Yes

The word 'revolution' in itself is a very powerful term - something so massive in scale that it has the power to change the way we see something. This is why I was expecting big things from Nintendo when they codenamed their next console the 'Revolution' in it's early conception. You see, they... Read full review »

Nintendo Wii: Gaming brought to a whole new level.

Pros Innovative gameplay, Plays GameCube games, emulates older games, small.
Cons Maximum display is 480p, the controls still need a little tweaking.
Recommended it? Yes

Cons Loud<br>games no longer made for it

My parents bought me one back in '99. It has seems countless hours of game play over the 15 years and it has had no problems. it still runs and plays games just as well as it did when I was little. Because the dream at is so old, the games for it are probably pretty cheap. Also, the memory stick... Read full review »

Ill-Fated but great system

byjustchris Apr 19, 2010

Who can forget this sensation of a system? The ads were everywhere, on Television, in print, on billboards, and even in movie trailers. In fact, the system itself was the official sponsor of nearly every show and event on MTV from 1999 to about early 2001. These post-modern approaches to video game... Read full review »
