Standard equipment on the Sable includes a four-speed automatic transmission, keyless entry remote system, front and rear mudguards, and power convenience features. LS trim upgrades include anti-lock brakes, heated outside mirrors, and machined aluminum wheels. The optional Secure Package features traction control and front side impact airbags. 2008 Mercury Mariner Premier 4x4 V6

Pros: driving, parking, functional cargo space, excellent safety and intelligent 4wd systems, power, exterior appearance

Cons: poorly mated transmission, interior design, city gas mileage, road noise

The Bottom Line: I would recommend this CUV to someone that wants more SUV and less car, yet still get a good compromise in return.
