Pros: A good value. Has Esata.

Cons: Doesn't have firewire, but that can be expected due to price range.

The Bottom Line: A great external drive that comes at a good price. The esata connection is a great bonus for those who can use it.

Freedom in a BOX!

Pros: Humongous. Confidence-inspiring. USB 2.0 speed. Small footprint. Quiet. Small power adapter. Mac/PC.

Cons: Can't think of any, but I haven't tried the backup utility.

The Bottom Line: If you need to transfer and/or backup large files, or would like to consolidate media files, then go with a Maxtor.

Really Disappointed

Pros: looks nice
smallish
quiet
blue light looks cool.
It was easy (when working).

Cons: Problem Code 10!!!
Lack of adequate support "fix"...confusing.

The Bottom Line: Unfortunately I'd recommend against this product. I thought Seagate was a great name brand before my experience...
