Pros: User friendly, easy to hold.
Cons: No real cons, unless you add the Mapsend Software
The Bottom Line: The Meridian Gold is an easy to use navigation tool. It should be used in conjunction with a map. Avoid the Mapsend Streets software until Magellan corrects some issues.

Pros: Hand held, waterproof, larger screen, floats.
Cons: Inaccurate map.Lack of roads. Requires expensive extras to make it useful.
The Bottom Line: I don't recommend it. The lack of built in features and lack of company support is astounding.
