The Ultra RangePlus Wireless-N Broadband Router is really three devices in one box. First, there's the Wireless Access Point, which lets you connect to the network without wires. There's also a built-in 4-port full-duplex 10/100 Switch to connect your wired-Ethernet devices together. Finally, the Router function ties it all together and lets your whole network share a high-speed cable or DSL Internet connection. The incredible speed of Wireless-N makes it ideal for media-centric applications like streaming video, gaming, and Voice over IP telephony, and gives you plenty of headroom to run multiple media-intense data streams through the network at the same time, with no degradation in performance. With the Linksys Wireless-N Broadband Router at the center of your home or office network, you can share a high-speed Internet connection, files, printers, and multi-player games, and run media-intensive applications at incredible speeds, without the hassle of stringing wires. The NETGEAR WGR614 54 Mbps 802.11g Wireless Router lets you easily set up a wireless network in your home so you can share a single internet connection with everyone in your household or office at speeds up to 54 Mbps. The WGR614 makes it easy for even a novice to set up a wireless network: just plug the included Ethernet cable from your internet connection into the router and insert the included CD into any computer on the network, which will provide step-by-step instructions. The WGR614 employs a web-based interface for configuration, and the router will automatically do the initial setup by getting your DNS settings and determining your IP address. The firmware is also upgradeable via the web interface so you can be sure your router will always be up-to-date. Less

by quidoo , Jun 4, 2008
Pros: attractive, small, speed, security, range, easy setup, works with wireless g and b devices
Cons: Not worth the cost if home network is centrally located
The Bottom Line: I would recommend to anyone who needs range, security and speed with their wireless network
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: The router is sleek looking, small and sits on 4 rubber feet or can be wall mounted. Even though it called a Wireless-N Broadband Router it is backwards compatible with wireless G and B devices. You can configure the router to allow all standard or...

Netgear Router Made Me Curse But is a Good Wireless System

by CyndiA , Oct 12, 2009
Pros: Low cost. Small. Works once figured out.
Cons: Very hard to figure out. No instructions. Hit a snag and bummer.
The Bottom Line: Netgear routers are heck to figure out and set up but work fine if you get things right.
This reviewer recommends this product.

The Bottom Line: I recommend this to anyone who needs a secure, simple, wireless access point.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: I am totally satisfied with the "touchless" use of this wireless router. It works great with both my home network, and the DSL modem/router that I use to connect to my local ISP.
